Use the adddir command to give Claude Code access to extra directories without losing context.

By default Claude Code only sees the folder you launched it from. Your docs, reference codebases, and notes are all somewhere else. You end up copying and pasting everything in manually. The fix is to pass additional directories at launch, so Claude gets full read access to all of them alongside your current project.
